The Caramelized onion & Goat's cheese pizza recipe
What do you need?
- San Marzano tomatoes for the base
- Thinly sliced onion
- Brown sugar
- Balsamic vinegar
- Red wine vinegar (optional)
- Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese (low moisture)
- Soft goat's cheese
- Cream (optional)
- Olive oil
Method:
- Cook onions under low heat until translucent
- Sprinkle the softened onions with brown sugar and return to heat
- Add a splash of vinegar on the onions and reduce until ready
- Mix goat's cheese with the cream
- Spread crushed San Marzano tomatoes and some olive oil on the dough
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mozzzarella on the tomato sauce
- Add caramelized onions on the pizza
- Bake the pizza at 450°C for 70 seconds in the Revolve Pizza Oven or until the pizza is thoroughly cooked
- Add dollops of goat's cheese cream on your pizza
- Sprinkle with a bit of parmesan
